Mepilex Non-Bordered Lite
Thin, non bordered soft silicone foam dressing designed for low exudate wounds where gentle contact and flexibility are required.
Mepilex® Lite is a thin, absorbent soft silicone foam dressing developed by Mölnlycke for wound management where exudate levels are low and atraumatic contact is important. The dressing is designed to absorb limited exudate while maintaining a moist wound environment and protecting fragile or healing tissue.
Mepilex Lite incorporates Safetac soft silicone contact technology, which adheres gently to intact skin without sticking to the wound bed. This helps minimise pain and trauma during dressing changes and supports preservation of newly formed tissue. The thin and highly conformable foam structure allows close contact with the wound surface and adapts well to contoured anatomical areas.
Mepilex Lite is suitable for use on a range of wounds including skin tears, superficial burns, surgical wounds, and pressure related skin damage. It is intended for use with a secondary fixation or dressing and may remain in place for several days depending on wound condition and clinical judgement.
