DuoDERM® Dressings are hydrocolloid wound dressings developed by ConvaTec for the management of wounds where a moist healing environment is beneficial. The dressing interacts with wound exudate to form a soft gel, helping to maintain moisture at the wound surface while protecting against external contaminants.

The outer film layer provides a barrier to bacteria and water while allowing moisture vapour transmission. DuoDERM Dressings adhere securely to intact skin and are designed to remain in place for extended wear, reducing the frequency of dressing changes. The conformable construction allows use on flat or contoured anatomical areas.

DuoDERM is suitable for a range of acute and chronic wounds, including pressure injuries, leg ulcers, and minor burns. Dressing selection and wear time should be guided by wound condition and clinical judgement.
