The Orthothermic CMC restriction splint provides support and localised warmth to the thumb CMC joint, offering pain relief, reducing stiffness, and alleviating inflammation. Designed specifically for osteoarthritis and medial subluxation of the thumb CMC joint, it helps relieve discomfort from arthritis, instability, sprains, tendinitis, or repetitive motion injuries.
The splint includes a keeper for easier donning and features an adjustable metal stay for enhanced support at the base of the thumb. Silicon beads on the outer surface improve grip, while the liner uses far infrared fibres to generate heat for a thermal effect. Made from 100% high-grade CR neoprene, the splint is antimicrobial and not made with natural rubber latex. Sold individually. Hand wash with mild soap and water, then air dry.
