OrthoPT Strap to the patella tendon, facilitates an alternative path for force transmission during activity to a different, more healthy section of the patella tendon.
OrthoPT Strap provides instant relief and an environment for long term healing. The internal silicone tube imparts localised pressure to the middle of the tendon, which pushes the tendon posteriorly. This in turn changes the line of pull from the tendon’s insertional points where it connects to the patella and tibial tuberosity.
