Made of breathable knitted elastic fabric, the DonJoy FortiLax Knee helps to support and protect the knee during everyday activities.
This knee support is intended for use following both acute and chronic knee injuries, as well as for mild knee osteoarthritis. It offers proprioceptive and neuromuscular stimulation through compression and helps in preventing further injury. The knitted construction is made from multidirectional elastic fabric, providing a lightweight, low-profile design with a stylish, modern look. This support fits both left and right knees and is available in a pediatric size. It is not made with natural rubber latex and is easy to clean, machine washable.
The anatomical 3D knit design delivers effective, targeted compression (20-36mmHg, medical standard) and support. Compression-reduced edges divert pressure at the ends of the support, ensuring a comfortable fit. The breathable, elastic, soft knit enhances comfort, while stretch zones over the patella and behind the knee allow for increased breathability, comfort, and freedom of movement. Visual graphics around the patella ensure correct application of the brace.
